Bella Thorne slams Whoopi Goldberg in video after being "slut-shamed" for her nudes

"I just want to say that me watching this interview made me feel bad about myself. And I hope you’re happy."

Earlier this week, Bella Thorne was targeted by a hacker who broke it's way into her Twitter account. The hacker posted offensive tweets from Bella's account and threatened to leak her nude photos. Following that, Bella decided to take her power back and release the photos herself.

The Assasination Nation actress was praised by her fans for beating the hacker to it, but some didn't agree with her publishing her own naked images. Bella was called out by actress and The View host Whoopi Goldberg, who suggested that as a celebrity, Bella should not be taking photos like that anyway.

"If you’re famous, I don’t care how old you are. You don’t take nude pictures of yourself," Whoopi said on the show. "Once you take that picture, it goes into the Cloud and it’s available to any hacker who wants it, and if you don’t know that in 2019 that this is an issue, I’m sorry. You don’t get to do that."

Bella saw Whoopi's comments and responded on her Instagram Story. In the clip, Bella is in tears as she calls Whoopi out for making her feel even worse about the situation than she already did.

"I'm not gonna lie, I wanna say that I feel pretty disgusting," she explained. "I feel pretty disgusting, Whoopi, knowing that everyone's seen my shit. And I just want to say that me watching this interview made me feel bad about myself. And I hope you're happy. I really do. I hope you're so fucking happy... You’re so crazy for thinking such terrible things on such an awful situation."

Bella then revealed that she was supposed to go on The View for an interview, but she didn't feel comfortable heading on the show after Whoopi's comments.

She added: "I don't really want to go on The View anymore because I don't really want to be beaten down by a bunch of older women for my body and my sexuality. I don't really feel like that. And so I'm going to cancel my interview because I don't really want you guys talking about your views to young girls because I would not want my daughter to learn that and I would never say that."

YouTuber Tana Mongeau and Bella's ex-girlfriend defended her on her Instagram Story, writing: "yo FUCK @whoopiegoldberg. fuck slut shaming. fuck blaming girls for bad things that happen to them & inciting fear. I love you @bellathorne whoopi I feel so sorry for you to have that mindset."
