We cannot wait...

It's no secret that we adore all things Joey King. The rising star has been on our radar ever since she bagged a guest role on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Since then, she has starred in films ranging from Romana and Beezus to The Conjuring. However, it's her breakthrough role in The Kissing Booth that's put her name on literally everyone's lips. Viewers can't get enough of her performance as Elle or her irl romance with her co-star Jacob Elordi.

Thankfully Joey fans don't have to wait too long to see the award winning actress star in another film. This month she will be playing one of the main parts in Slender Man and it has just been announced that she will be the lead in Paramount Players' new film The In Between. Not only that but, according to Deadline, the movie is being made as "a star vehicle for Joey". In other words, she is so talented that films are being created for her.

To make things even more exciting, Deadline has also revealed what The In Between is about and it sounds like it could be incredible. Marc Klein (Mirror Mirror: The Untold Stories of Snow White) is writing it and it is being touted as "a supernatural romance in the vein of Ghost. After surviving a car accident that took the life of her boyfriend, a teenage girl believes he’s attempting to reconnect with her from the after world."

Yes. Not only is The In Between going to be a love story for the ages but it will also be all kinds of paranormal. Essentially, it looks set to be one of the greatest films of all time and we cannot wait to see it. As it stands there's no word on who will be Joey's love interest in the movie but we have suggestions (JACOB, JACOB, JACOB, JACOB JACOB).

Joey will produce The In Between alongside Robbie Brenner (Dallas Buyer's Club), Dan Spilo (Office Uprising) and Andrew Deane (The Double). A release date is yet to be announced but we shall update you as soon more information becomes available.
