Josephine opened up about the "feud" rumours in a recent interview.

Josephine Langford stars in the recently released After movie alongside Hero Fiennes-Tiffin. The Australian actress portrays Tessa, a young college freshman who falls for bad boy Hardin Scott (Fiennes-Tiffin) after encountering him at her new school. You may recognise Josephine from Wish Upon and Wolf Creek. You may also know her sister Katherine Langford, who starred as Hannah Baker in seasons 1 and 2 of Netflix's 13 Reasons Why.

Both are famously low key about their personal and family life, to the point where Josephine recently addressed rumours of a "feud" between her and Katherine.

Will there be an 'After' 2 movie?

In a recent interview with Refinery 29, Josephine said she thinks the feud rumours "are crazy". She addressed videos where fans had created compilations of her talking about Katherine and tried to extract deeper meaning from them.

“I think when you have limited content of someone, and I’m definitely not helping that, you just sort of take little parts of what you know about a person, and you extrapolate it," she explained to R29.

A 2018 Daily Mail article speculated on the sisters' relationship, while some fans online have wondered why the two don't have photos together on Instagram (neither are particularly active on social media, in all fairness). In her interview with R29, Josephine also noted that she doesn't even check her Instagram feed.

On the After press tour, Josephine has been asked about her sister quite a lot. In one interview Josephine was queried about whether her sister's stardom influenced her to start acting, prompting her to explain that she'd "started acting before" Katherine.

In another interview, Josephine was asked whether Katherine offered her any advice. Josephine alluded to their busy schedules and slightly different career trajectories saying: "I think if my first big [role] had been a Netflix show with a lot of hype, then we would’ve had more to share. But I didn’t have time to hear advice, nor did she have time to give it.”

People should perhaps take rumours of a feud between the sisters with a grain of salt. In a recent red carpet interview, Josephine revealed that she'd be open to working on a project with Katherine "if the right role" came up.

With Katherine Langford working on her new Netflix series, Cursed, and Josephine out promoting After, the sisters are definitely busier than your average siblings.

What do you guys think? Are you looking forward to seeing Josephine in more roles now that After is out in theatres?
