Alice and FP have a tearful confrontation, Veronica's casino hits a road bump and Archie starts an underground Gryphons and Gargoyles fight club in the extended trailer for Riverdale's 'American Dreams'.

Archie got scammed by a 10 year old, Gryphons and Gargoyles reared its ugly head again, The Farm sank its claws into Kevin and Betty set her own house on fire. That's what you missed on Riverdale. But just when you thought it couldn't get any crazier, the trailer for season 3, episode 15 is about to prove you wrong.

The next episode of Riverdale, titled 'American Dreams' will air on Wednesday 13th March and despite the fact that the parents were all high school juniors in 92/93, it's apparently time to celebrate FP Jones' 50th birthday.

The synopsis for the episode reads: "As Gladys prepares for FP’s 50th birthday party, Jughead questions his mom’s motives for returning to Riverdale. When an unexpected encounter brings Archie back into the world of G&G, Jughead and Betty devise a plan to help him face his past head-on. Finally, Cheryl and Toni find themselves at a crossroads, and Veronica reveals a damaging secret to Betty."

Luke Perry will appear as Fred Andrews in this episode. A call sheet accidentally posted on Instagram by Skeet Ulrich revealed that Fred attends FP's birthday party. The episode will once again be dedicated to Luke.

Oh my god, they were roommates...

After pulling a Cheryl and setting her now-former home on fire to spite her mother, Cousin Betty has moved in with Veronica at the Pembrooke. Oh, and that damaging secret V tells B as teased in the synopsis? It's about Gladys and her takeover of the drug trade in Riverdale. Nothing to worry about then! Just a small hiccup! Jughead is gonna be totally cool with this! Yay drug mum!

"Do you love her, FP?"

After weeks of literally having no scenes together or referencing each other, Alice and FP's secret relationship looks like it's building up to an emotional - and tearful - confrontation and I for one am not ready for it. I don't want it. Please don't make me. I never asked for this. I know I said I love drama but I've changed my mind now. I just want world peace.

Gladys' arrival back in town hasn't been discussed between the two of them yet but seeing as both Alice and Gladys are in attendance at FP's (alleged!!!) 50th birthday party, it's clearly about to become a massive problem. For me, mostly.

And as for that shot of FP smiling? After consulting the layout of the Jones' trailer in my mind, I have concluded that FP is not smiling at Gladys, he's smiling at... Jellybean? Ohhhh boy...

Nana Rose! The #1 Choni stan! Fucc it up!

She's back!! But what's she up to?! Who is standing over her? Is that Cheryl? Has she gone to her for advice? What advice will she give? Why is she picking leaves? What are those leaves? Are they poisonous? Is she the one who did all the poison?! NANA?

...And Reggie literally fucks it up? Maybe?

After setting up a casino that I can only describe as Riverdale's illegal gambling version of the School of Rock classroom, V runs into a spot of bother but was it Reggie's fault? Probably! They look like they made a bunch of money anyway. La Bonne Nuit Hotel, Bar and Casino is rising! Self-made billionaire Kylie Jenner is shaking!

Like Taylor Swift and the snake before him, Archie has reclaimed the Red Paladin.

With the help of Bughead (who are finally back on their bullshit together), Archie appears to have turned his Gryphons and Gargoyles misfortune into something helpful. Has he turned the quest card into a hobby? Is he using himself as bait to sleuth out the dangerous players from the plain old nerds? Whatever. I honestly don't know what's going on with this game anymore.

CHONI IN THE SPEAKEASY?! A CONCEPT!

WELL. If this isn't proof that good things come to stans who wait (a very long and frustrating time), I don't know what is. Sure, there's the recent looming threat of all that Choni tension and a potential break up but for now? Speakeasy! CHONI STANS, LEMME HEAR Y'ALL SCREAM!
