It's a long harsh summer but production on Riverdale season 3 is officially under way and a whole new bunch of episodes are thankfully only a few weeks away from returning to our screens.
The third season of the hit teen show is set to bring us even more drama, even more romance and even more shocking twists and character deaths. It also sounds like we'll be getting a few excited themed episodes this year, including a parents flashback episode and another musical episode.

When is the next episode of Riverdale?
The next episode of Riverdale will air on October 10th at 8/7c on The CW. It will be the first episode of season 3, titled "Labor Day".
So far, the titles for the first four episodes have been announced:
Episode 1 - "Chapter Thirty-Six: Labor Day"
Episode 2 - "Chapter Thirty-Seven: Fortune And Men's Eyes"
Episode 3 - "Chapter Thirty-Eight: As Above, So Below"
Episode 4 - "Chapter Thirty-Nine: The Midnight Club"
What time does Riverdale come out on The CW & Netflix?
Riverdale airs on Netflix in the UK just a couple of hours after each episode premieres on The CW in the US, which will be at 8pm (ET). For those in the UK, that means new episodes usually drop at 7/8am GMT.
Will Riverdale season three be on Netflix in the US?
Yes! The entirety of the third season of Riverdale will drop on Netflix in the US after the season finale at some point in May 2019. It will not be released on a weekly basis.

How many episodes are in Riverdale season 3?
The new season will run for 23 episodes. Filming for the third season began in July and is currently in full swing.
What will happen in season 3?
According to show-runner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Riverdale season 3 will take on a completely different tone and genre. It'll be focusing more on the friendships and relationships that have been established over the first two seasons. We'll also be taking deeper looks into certain characters backstories, including the history shared between all the parents.
The will also be a time-jump when we return to Riverdale. Season three will start on Labor Day weekend which is at the beginning of September and the kids will finally be become high school juniors.
